The Captain Shreve High School Academic Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization designed to generate funds for major academic school improvements for all students including teaching materials and equipment needs too costly to be absorbed by the PTSA. Schools are not provided operating budgets; they must generate most of the funding for themselves. Over the past six years, the Foundation has raised over $60,000.00 dedicated to your student’s education at Captain Shreve High School. The Foundation is pleased to report that every department in the school has been served in some capacity.
The CS Academic Foundation is seeking donations by December 11, 2009. Your dollars will be spent on school needs during the 2009-2010 school year. As a donor you will submit suggestions, the Board will research ideas and every donor will get a vote to determine how the money will be spent. You may donate with cash or a check payable to Captain Shreve High School Academic Foundation. The contribution levels remain at $150.00, $250.00 and $500.00; however, each contributor is an equal member of the Foundation and participates in selecting the educational needs and purchases for the school.
Donations may be mailed to Captain Shreve or left in the office. Checks should be made payable to the Captain Shreve Academic Foundation.
