Captain Shreve High School Yearbook Announcement APRIL 1ST is that last day that you can order a YEARBOOK and be guaranteed a book for delivery. Orders will still be taken for yearbooks from April 1st to April 15th, but those orders will be placed on a WAITING LIST. Please order your yearbook to day so that you won't be left out. Reading Pays Off in the Swamp. Congratulations to the Top Point Earners in Accelerated Reader for the 1st Nine Weeks! The top 25 scores earned from 47.9 points to 147.2 points the first nine weeks of the school year. They were put in a drawing and five lucky readers won $10.00 from the library for their great efforts! Start Reading for the 2nd nine weeks. Twenty-five new Gators could be in the list and participate in the drawing! Congratulations to our top 25 Readers Loren Reese, Isaiah Kelly, Andre Yarbrough, Whitney Phillips, Caroline Hymel, Jordy Cloutier, Andrew Bingham, Laderrick Washington, Joel Bailey, James Oates, Irvin Carmack, Kristen Fulmer, Eddie James, Zachary Thomas, Gavin Hobdy, Colin Reeves, Charmain Crowe, Brittney Thomas, Faith Lacaze, Brooklyn Galimore, Caitlin Feazel, Taylor Tisdon, Darius Morris, Kathryn Chopin, and Nicole Gouthiere Each student was placed in a drawing for every 25 points they had accumulated. Congratulations to the 8g Competitive Grant Writing Committee! Once again, Captain Shreve has won the 8g Competitive Grant for $100,000. Maureen Barclay is the author, with assistance from Melissa Elrod, Annette Williford, and Joanette Underhill, grant manager. The Grant is Swamp 101 and is the 4th $100,000 8g grant Shreve has won in 5 years. |
