Sign-up for Student Council Senator begins April 4 at 8:15 and ends April 11 at 8:15.  Sign-up sheets will not be accepted after 8:15 on April 11. There will be a mandatory confirmation at 3:55 on April 11 in the cafeteria.  Doors will close for confirmation at 3:55. Current members of student council have to sign-up to run for next school year. Students have to sign-up every year for Senator.

Current Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors who would be interested in joining #SHREVENOEA “No One Eats Alone” Club:  Applications are in the front office with an extended deadline of April 4. NOEA is looking for its inaugural club members.  The club is focused on social inclusion activties, awareness and advancing our school’s #NotInOurSwamp initiatives.

Hey, all you talented Gators! Do you sing, play an instrument, or dance? Do you have a talent made for the stage? Key Club is looking for talented gators to audition for Showboat, Captain Shreve's annual talent show. Come by Mr. Scott's room to sign up and pick up an information packet before Friday, March 23. Auditions will be Thursday April 5, in B-103, and you MUST SIGN UP before Tuesday, April 3 to audition.

The Captain Shreve Bowling Team is selling fundraiser cards good for 5 games of bowling at Holiday Lanes for only $10. If you would like to purchase one, please see Ms. Wilson in Room 209 or Coach Menard. Have some fun and help support our bowling team at the same time.

So how smart are you?  Are you smarter than a 5th grader?  How about a Junior?  How about a Math teacher?  The 2nd Annual Captain Shreve Trivia Night challenge will be on Wednesday, April 4th from 6pm to 8pm in the cafeteria.  There will be 5 rounds of trivia played to determine a student team winner and a “grown-up” team winner.  Final Jeopardy round for the Grand Championship!! Form a team of 4-5 people at $10 per person. Sign up sheets are available in the front office, or from Mrs. Reeser in 214 or Mrs. Doughty in 213.  Team information and payment must be made by Monday, April 2nd .  This event is sponsored by the Captain Shreve Quiz Bowl Team.  Food and drinks with ticket purchase - Fun – Bragging rights – Prizes​

Prom Timeline:  March 19 debt list is posted in gym foyer; March 19–22 sign up non-Shreve dates with Mr. Silvie; March 23 Mr. Silvie will verify dates with other high schools; April 3 – 13 prom tickets are sold before school, at lunch and after school (see B. Doughty & A. Williford); see Mrs. Joslyn, the bookkeeper, to purchase prom tickets online; April 14 the 2018 prom is at LSUS ballroom beginning at 8:00 PM til 11:00 PM.

Do you like to create, compete, and win?  Are you creative or think outside of the box?  Art Club wants YOU!  We meet every Tuesday after school until 5pm in room B105.  Get exposed by your Art!

Are you struggling in Math?  Do you need help preparing for a Math test?  Or just a little help with homework?  Captain Shreve's Math Club can help.  Peer tutoring is available every Wednesday morning in Room A112 from 7:45 to 8:15.  Just drop in and be sure to bring your math work with you.

Stan Sanford from Graduate Sales will be here April 4 & 5 during both lunch shifts in the auditorium to distribute senior supplies that you may have ordered. You will be expected to pay your balance at that time as well. This is NOT the cap and gown...that will come later.
