KTAL – Captain Shreve wants more than just a district championship in ’20

“We got athletes everywhere, everywhere, don’t expect no less.”

With a new quarterback under center and four new offensive lineman, Captain Shreve will have to rely on those athletes in 2020.

“Anytime you’ve got guys like Ashton (Martin), Cameron Dowd and Ty Smith, guys that can take it to the house at any moment, it makes defenses call it a little differently, it keeps them a little more honest,” said Coach Bryant Sepulvado.

KTAL – Captain Shreve RB James Ivory named Friday Night Blitz Player of the Week

Captain Shreve running back James Ivory was presented with the player of the week trophy donated by Buds Trophy Case in Bossier.

Ivory ran for 210-yards and two touchdowns in Thursday’s win over Woodlawn. In fact he has over 400-yards rushing through the first two weeks of the season.

Ivory says he’s happy for the honor but couldn’t be here without the help of his Gator teammates.

A proper retirement for Old Glory

The Ceremonial Flag Retiring demonstrates the correct way to dispose of worn and tattered United States flags.

Around 50 flags were retired after spending years flying above local schools, businesses, and courthouses.

The JROTC spent weeks planning the event as part of their service learning project.
